If a puppy has a minor fault, it is classified as pet quality and can be sold at a great discount. Animals with behavioral problems and serious genetic defects cannot be sold at all and are culled. Only the best representatives of the breed can take part in breeding.

The average purebred pup of this breed costs between $800 and $1000. It may seem too expensive, but if you consider all expenses on keeping, testing, training and breeding, you'll see that reputable kennels don't get much profit from selling puppies.
